Why?

There you are again,
standing so tall.
Your so loving and wonderful,
it makes me fell so small.

You look at me with
piercing emerald eyes,
Your skin so warm,
it turns me into ice.

You hold me close.
I can hear your heart beat.
I feel your lips touch mine.
I love you so much that
it should be a crime.

But my vision gets blurry.
I start to go blind.
I wake up crying,
knowing that i was in a bind.

It was just a dream.
So in the darkness I wonder,
why? Why?
Why can't you be mine?
