I don't need you

If I saw you again, I wouldn't know what to say
I'd stare at the ground, make a joke or run away

It's awkward to remember there was ever you and me
I'd like you to stop calling, but you'll never let me be

I won't say I didn't care, I didn't think it was a mistake
But I couldn't stand your lies, there's too much I couldn't take

I still think of you often, and everything we could be
But you only think of you, and you don't consider me

It's not selfish to want you to care
After all you promised, that you'd always be there

Those times that I needed you, the times I could call
You left me all alone, you let me down you let me fall

I can get up on my own now
