Finding our way through this misty haze
The longer we wait, the darker the days
If only I could see you one more time
I'd remember the day when I still called you mine
All alone we stayed, we waited and wept
We're consumed by our losses, and the secrets we kept
It's so hard to believe in the truths you can't see
We had hope in the thought that there was you and me
If silence is defiance, I've got nothing left to say
I can never help but wonder, why it was you couldn't stay
It's so dark; it's so cold, and I want to forget
I want to never remember the day that we met
All you are now is a memory
