Life is a Hurricane

I'm tired of these scars,
But I think they're healing.
They've always itched me,
Like I've been burned.

Sometimes I feel life is a hurricane;
We're two in the eye,
But one in the storm.
Lost in the wind,
But found in the calm.

The scars were always so white,
But you've given them color.
You've come back into my life
And stolen my eyes from another.

I know I'm gonna make you die;
You don't even know what's wrong.
There's something I'm keeping from you,
But I don't know why.

Life is a hurricane;
We're two in the eye,
But one in the storm.
Lost in the wind,
But found in the calm.

I never told you,
Never let it out,
That you are the storm
But I'm stuck in the eye.
