Let My Eyes Stay Dry

Let my eyes stay dry, and my heart beat at its peak.
Give me the strength to say the words, before my knees grow weak.
I'll plant myself beside you, like the roots of thriving oak tree.
Only this love, our love, is a fairytale, only twice as eerie.
Your hand in mine, and mine in yours, we could forever run.
But without you I am motionless, still.
Through all my quirks, and through all of yours i can see the end, and its
beautiful.
