Sweet Calamity

Last night I caught a glimpse of you kneeling by the creek
Your reflection in the water was so beautiful
Only to be disturbed by ripples of falling tears
Could you please confide in me the secrets that you keep?

Hidden amongst the trees, I witnessed you empty your
Veins, and paint your snow white dress the deepest shade of red
That night something died inside of me- I died with you
Death was the only thing we shared in life- mi amore
