The Ballad of two Goofballs

If I had unlimited time
I know what I might do;
I'd spend it by adventuring daily
and playing Star Fox with you.

And if I had a life to spend
I'd listen to The Who
I'd eat a bowl of Corn Pops
and I'd spend the rest with you.

And if I had ten years to spend
I know just what I'd do
I'd kneel down with a Ring Pop
to make sure I married you

And if I had one year to live
I'd crawl in bed with you
I'd put led Zeppelin on your IPod
so we could cuddle to Robert's coo.

And if I had a week with you
I think I'd know what to do
I'd quit my lowly market job
and come make love to you.

And if I had one day with you,
despite our being blue,
I'd simply ask you to sing to me
a Pearl Jam song we knew.

And if I had three words left,
there would be a cliché due...
I'd swallow any pride or fear
and tell you I love you.

(This rhyming scheme sort of killed my mojo :-O)
