Do you know what she screams in the darkness?

Do you know what she screams in the darkness?
Do you know what she dreams in the light?
Do you know what lies in waiting,
and do you you know what walks in the night?

What loving shadow with a face of God
waiting behind the thin crimson veil
of a pretend love
She's drunk on shadows
but lost in her own words
blood red carvings on the mausoleum door
She's the rose, searching for her thorn

Do you know what she screams in the darkness?
Do you know what she dreams in the light?
Do you know what lies in waiting,
and do you you know what walks in the night?

Here she is, drunk on shadows again
but lost in her own words
So afraid to live
but more in fear of death
Can she hide her soul forever?
Protect her heart, forever in her Eden?
Searching for when the sun will fade
Trying to find her heaven

Do you know what she screams in the darkness?
Do you know what she dreams in the light?
Do you know what lies in waiting,
and do you you know what walks in the night?

Crucified to her nightmares, far gone in her dreams
Please, just hold onto me
With the scorching blood, cry out into the void
Don't let go

Ablaze in her eyes, the hell she seeks
Slaughter the bonds that trap you
Don't let go

Do you know what she screams in the darkness?
Do you know what she dreams in the light?
Do you know what lies in waiting,
and do you you know what walks in the night?
