watch the sunrise

My loyalites are to shirley, I stay reppin those streets
But now a days lindy is gettin my heart to beat
Chillin nightly, parkin lot of double D
Found a girl real sweet to watch the sunrise with me
Because that ink she drew really draws me in
Let me get sucked in by the glow beneath her skin
I might see a new road, one where I haven't yet been
The irony of this sin, it's a true piece of heaven
The spinnin of the head meets the racing of the heart
Meets the swimmin of the soul when that kiss hits a spark
I'm runnin in the dark, will you be my sunshine?
I'm not askin for the world just a portion of your time
Sweety would you mind if I spit you a rhyme?
Just a quick line to show you're stuck in my mind
There's something sublime in the way your laugh chimes in
The silver linin was hidin, but that giggle's got it shinin
What I really wanna see is what the future might be
Would you mind another time of watchin the sunrise with me?
Just you, me, and your car, watchin the sun eat the stars
I wanna spend the dawns figurin out who you are
