Twice is my limit

Twice is my limit
Within this world so called limitless
Can you see my potential?
A laugh cackles, can you dig this?
These lies we spread in Perfect Peace’s name
We are told that we can be anything
That we are formless clay but we are shaped by pain

We were shaped by so called suffrage
By ignored civil rights plagued by abuse
Told to not rile up with ancestral desire
To stop speaking this so called propaganda that is our views
I told you: twice is my limit
As the government stole my sacred days
This whole situation is bathed in atrocities
Making it so hard to awaken myself from this daze

Perfection has been torn to pieces
Buried next to nuclear family with a picket fence headstone
I bathe in my own sullen grace
With my voice becoming little more then a rising tone
I feed the parasite impulses with stolen glee
My eyes wide, I am astonished by my own negativity
Until I lie back and realize it is just a part of me.
