Clear your mind and let me in, you’re just my perfect brand of sin
We can sing a song to help us forget, if only it gets you a little bit wet
And with just a kiss we will win, a war we raged against our minds, against
our kin
And with just a touch you’ll forget, no more waking up in a cold sweat

Memories we cling to
We’ll be better off tomorrow
A kiss to erase the sorrow
And just this once become my beau

You’re a burlesque mess with a bit of lingering finesse
Trash class yet a budding star, so obsessed with the past you can’t see who
you are
All you need is my kind of caress, let us turn trauma into jest
So just close your eyes we’ll make par, I’ll try my best at this emotional
C.PR.
We have more pigs in our blankets then we’d need, but a lingering greed
That encompasses us; I’m a lady that can’t resist a damsel in distress
I’ll plant within you a mental seed, something so sacredly against your
creed
It maybe immoral, but nonetheless, we’ll move on, more or less.

I’ll try to understand you
It’ll be better in the sunshine
So hold your breath through sunrise
So much pain from these memories you cling to

You’re a tough cookie with rock hard abs, with legs that call all of the
cabs
And what am I? A budding bosom and a lingering sigh?
I like to think you need the hope I grab, I touch base but it’s more then
keeping tabs
I watch the clouds fly, shifting hues shining vibrantly in the reflection of
your eye
Oh my Madame Grisette, a darling Sing-Song Girl, all the talent and none of
the frills.

I’ll try to get close to you
Sing you a sweet lullaby of moans
With little breath but varied tones
All I can do is watch the memories tarnish you

It’ll be a cabaret of clarity, a vision so perfectly clouded with your own
vanity
I watch the orange of the sun cling to you tears, much as you marinate
yourself with fears
It rips through your sanity, replaces the elegant words you once scripted
with profanity
I can’t stand the wear of those years, an explosion of synthesis winds you
tighter then gears.
It breaks me apart to see these petty knife wounds callous so darling a
heart
I hold you tighter as you reach your hand for a lighter
Cigarette smoke twirls around your fingers like art, your face is tart
I’m a lover, I’m a fighter. And I would give anything to hold you tighter,
