Bitter-sweet kiss

Truth be told
this feels like perfection
Anxiety--dissolved
Pains of life--shattered
Escape is constant
this is how we've evolved

Fears cutout with diamonds
dependence, tinted with romance
This looks so sweet, so innocent
but only at first glance

Oh how this tranquility has been missed
Desperately, I waited, for her toxic kiss
Her claws could so easily dig in
Desire for satisfaction, weakened to giving in

Her lips are sweet
Her touch is tender
She reaches into my soul
She makes me beg for her

She gives me a most beautiful gift
This fade is a dream I hope never lifts
In sinks her fangs
I'll be hooked for sure
Her kiss keeps me coming back for more
