The Innocence In Me

He can see the innocence in me.
No matter how tough I try to be.
I'm his little porcelain doll,
With the fragile skin,
And the soft hair,
The delicate lace skirt,
And the dainty figure.
I'm his little doll,
No matter how hard I try,
He can see the innocence in me.
He holds me so gently,
I want to be rough and grown up.
His eyes look into mine,
And I know what he sees.
He can see the innocence in me.
He wants me to stop acting so mean.
Because in my efforts to be tough,
I am hurting him inside.
He just wants me to be,
Little innocent me.
I guess from now on,
I will let out from inside,
The innocence he sees in me.
