Cold Winter

When we're dancing in the rain, you gave me the world
when we kissed good bye, you disappeared
Maybe I'm cynical,
maybe I'm crazy,
or maybe I'm heartbroken

Honestly, it was one night
How can you know someone after one day
there was a light in your eyes
there was a warmth in your kiss
to save me from this chill of loneliness

In an instant you were gone
In a twinkle we mourned no longer
For life goes on as it seems
Though today you will be remembered
and I will never forget this long cold winter

With you gone things are different
No one truly cares to listen
No one understands the pain
No one dances anymore
I'm ready for Spring
