Only That Moon

Something like magic in her slivery eyes,
Where only truth is, no deception, no lies,
The Mistress of truth, the goddess of time,
Enchantress of music, Nymph of Rhyme,

Something to love, Something to fear,
Something about the way she cries, her tears,
Mother of young, sister of Old,
Silvery light, so warm, so cold,

Something like mystery, a puzzle to heed
To know her warmth, to feel, to need
Child of life, Sage of the seven seas,
Queen of the night, crowned is she

Something like seclusion, something like pain,
The giver of sanity, rumored insane,
So many ways to see her at night, to see her at noon,
Nothing as beautiful, only that moon.
