A Poem of Winter

Upon the snow painted ground you lie
Soul and all
Debauched and corrupted
And onto a bouquet of Bethlehem flowers you hold

The trees, marking pillars
Supporting the foundation of Heaven
Are marked with Winter's graffiti
And marks did you leave upon the painting she created on Earth's grounds

The light in your eyes has faded
No more do they rival the sun that struggles to illuminate the sky shrouded
in grey
Mist and fog rejoice

Crystals fall
However, more graceful than you
And try to hide the damage you've spread
Distorted wings on an imperfect angel

A black smudge in the painting of Winter
A mistake yet so perfect as so unwanted
An artist's mistakes are his best accomplishments

An angel you once were
Lost in Demeter's Redemption
My frozen angel, I must admit
You look so much more beautiful when I look down upon you
