Why we love

The nonsense, the arguements
I feel as though they compliment my love for you
Dominates the wrong I do...
Showing the power of speaking down to and speaking up for you
Reaching up, grabbing you and throwing you to the floor
It's only to keep you from walking out of the door
Stepping across my heart and out of my world
I dont understand why you cant just be my girl
Grown and sexy but when innocence takes the stage on your face,
right between the traces of rage and you offer your hand to stand on
the other side of the finish line together at the end of our race.
I get a taste of adrenaline, hoping that we can win again before we sin
again,
and I remember when you were my sunshine and I was your moonlight
I remember when I asked you were you down for the ride, and you buckled up
tight
When everything that is wrong with us now was right
And I might be overexxaderating but I could never regret nor forget,
how the mere sight of you led me right to you
The arguements, the consequence
It'd seem that we'd never learn to take turns when speaking,
Or how not to know the right words that burn and starts the screaming
She's swinging, blows stinging, ears ringing
And we can never find the exact reasons why are moods change like the
seasons
Or why we always end up grieving instead of celebrating love
A captivating drug
A bad habit that we dont want to get rid of
I float about the stress and distress when she keeps me high
Still leading me to agree to the who, what, when, where, how, and why are we
arguing?
Her nonchalance, my confidence
Are you leaving... Possibly
Are you staying... Probably
Do you hate me... Hardly
She say's "I love you", I say "I'm sorry."
Between me and you and the pink elephant in the room there's no space for
apologies
No vacancy for mistakes, starving for this feast we eat, but there's so much
on my plate
I don't know where else to begin but the hate,
or by the bit of reluctance that tells us to wait for the day when we start
back at a clean slate
I'm trying to speak my soul to you and I hope you can relate to the
remorseful irony of fate
I just hope that it isnt to late to determine our destination
Refocus our attention and regain concentration on the things that keeps
smiles on our faces
The lies, the hatred, the passion, the patience
An occasion meant to be chased with grace...sprinting in a footrace
And our pace has your breathing heavy and I'm ready to crawl across our
destination
to begin the manifestation of wisdom
1+1=2 and Love+Me=You
And they may never understand the who, what, when, where, how, and why we do
what we do.
But as long as you got me and I got you then all that matter is...
The nonsense, the arguements, the consequence
The lies, the hatred, the passion, the patience
All making us lack and taking us back and above..
To the who, what, when, where, how, and why we love.
