How can two people love so strong
Only in time to have it go so wrong
Our light is fading, and this I fear
Even with you beside me you are not here
The sun still rises, the stars still shine
Everything is constant except you being mine
Now I must struggle to bring out a smile
And your tender touch not felt in awhile
You have pulled away and cut me to the bone
The more I endure the more I turn to stone
You are as the shadow cast on the wall
A gentle whisper vanishing down the hall
You say that you love me but you do not see
Those words and your actions contradict you to me
My heart is now frozen, I wonder do you care
I want to be rational I want to be fair
I want to vanish and lock up these tears
For I miss you my love even though you are right here
