Broken Mirrors, Dried Up Tears.

it came to me last night-
like your ignorance-
it stole from me
every bit of patience
there she goes again,
taunting, flaunting me;
she's gotten all she's wanted
of me:
Falling over, stopping me from
getting where I've wanted to be.

it came like Her Majesty
it told everyone about me.
She's getting cruel, she's
growling at me.
Foul and sour and unrelenting,
sending me to Hell; repenting.
I don't think she'll stop to let me
breathe,
seethe,
then kill this fever
tell me when the worst is over
I just want to let go of her
block the doors and smash the mirrors
I've had enough of all these tears.

it came to me in many sections
I'm familiar with her sessions
Once she's gone and put to rest
then I'll be safe
from this reflection
Am I ill, or did you catch on?
This girl is me-
I've learned my lesson.
In all of my hunger for this poison
I am done, so now I'll listen.
Afterall,
I have no reason
for a pain
in this healing season.
Hush, now;
she's gone to sleep.
