Tears fill our eyes
Filed with hatred pain and sorrow
We are thinking of the day
The twin towers took their tumble
We remember the ones that are lost
Their bodies never found
We remember their love ones
Who sit lost in thought
“Why them” “why now”
Or just “why”

It’s hard to believe
On the other side of the world
People are celebrating today
Like it is a victorious day
But little do they know
The haven’t brought us down for long
But they have a wakened our
Endless spirit and are pride to be Americans
They’ll never take are freedom
We fought so hard to get
We will never let them bring us down
We will never forget what they have done
We will make them regret
