As I laid there and watched you sleep
I couldn't help myself but to think
Of all that we have just went through
And now we're going to start anew
It'll be hard and tough
But I know we'll both be there when the going gets rough
And that truely makes me smile
Something I haven't done in awhile
Who's to say
If you'll be mine again someday
But really all that matters in the end
Is that we once again become each other's best friend
Maybe my friendship Heather
Will soon bring us back together
But if not I won't care
Because as my best friend I'll want you there
So for now I won't say goodbye
I'll stick with goodnight
See you later I'll even say
Because tomorrow is another new day...
