When I wake up in the morning
To a shining sun
I know my day will be bright
Not a rainy one

I put a smile on my face
And hop around with joy
I just cant wait to see my friends again
And talk with all the boys

Everyone wonders how i get so happy
I really dont know though
I just act like me and be my best
So the depression doesnt show

I am such a happy child
I have and always will be
Even when the tides have turned
I just have to be me
