Flickers of darkness
Seem to invade my light
They're covering the source
From where they first took flight

My mind is overcome
With such serene solitude
That its affecting my actions
And everything else I do

Slowly the light fades
And the dark becomes more prominent
My hopes are disappearing
And my fears are forward sent

Can you save me now
As I sink into the ground
My lips are mouthing the words
But you can't hear a sound
