I Think I Know You

My world falls into melancholy,
Can this perplexity be frozen,
And can a little light shine,
I could be so much, yet I'm so little,

Do you see me as a necessity?
How can you grasp the person inside so calmly,
And accept me as a single being of beauty?
Those words mean something hidden to me,

And everything I touch turns to shattered glass,
But you are stone and cannot be broken,
How do you hold me so passionately,
And yet I can barely feel your touch?

How do you speak silence so boldly?
And should you see the truth when I'm pretending to pretend,
I know you would smile, knowing only that truth,
How do you expose your soul to the world so openly?

One thousands other could never know me,
Like you know me, as a person, a soul,
And when the world falls upon me I'll know,
That you know me,

And I think I know you.
