I'm trying to remember why I gave up on a love I had
for the love I'd never gain.
My eyes are swore from being open
and water runs down my cheeks.
I wish I could stop the tears
from coming
but they just wont go away.
My tears are tears of loss
for I chose to go for the stars
and I missed
and now I'm in the dark
with no one
to rescue me.
