it happened, it happened;
am i still strapped on or am i free?
hey, hey well i'm guessing
we'll just wait up and see-
time has yet to tell me.
it has spilt no secrets,
and has slowly cured previous pain.
but now i'm thinking
all i have is to gain.
im moving so fast,
its hard to explain.
you know i'm still hooked
and it'll take a little while
and as i'm looked at in wonder
i'll still be running that mile.
i am to be reborn
and come back unfazed as a child.
