So Many Tears

So many tears
Were shed through the years
Not enough cheers
To many fears

So much pain
Was felt through the rain
How do we maintain
To not go insane

How can we replace
The lives that we erase
Why do we embrace
The hate that takes place

Are we to blind to see
How great things could be
If you listen to my plea
And set their spirits free

Let’s stop this mad fight
Let’s do it here tonight
Cause war is not the right
When there’s better glory in sight

So take all those tears
That was shed through the years
Turn them into cheers
Do away with the fears
