Little Girls

Just a little girl out in the freezing cold.
Just standing there, all alone.
She has no worries,
Yet she has all.
She yearns for love,
She yearns for want.
She just stands there.
It makes you think,
How many people are really that little boy inside.
All alone,
No one to turn to.
Are you one of those people?
Do you have people that love you?
Or are you all alone,
All alone like me.
The little girl used to be surrounded by many.
Everyone used to love her!
But it just didn’t work.
No one really understood, all of the hurt and pain inside.
There were a couple of people that truly understood her,
There are several reasons why they left her.
She pushed one away.
He was her best friend.
She talked to him about everything,
He listened unlike anyone else.
But then she tried to turn into another person.
She pushed him away.
Then there was another guy.
He seemed to be nice and funny and honest.
But he proved that wrong.
All of it, except that he can be funny.
And yet, there was another.
This one was a girl.
She loved her.
And that little girl loved her back even more.
They had everything in common.
And now she is still there.
That little girl came back.
Now there are two little girls there.
Two little girls standing there in the freezing cold.
But yet it is so much more.
There are so many people there in the hearts of that one little girl.
Both of them love.
Both of them hate.
But, they both also know that Good-Bye is forever.
Both of them had experiences where they needed to say Good-Bye, but they
couldn’t.
They couldn’t because what happened wasn’t expected.
No one expected Susie to do that,
Not with Allison lying next to her,
Next to her unaware that the noises she hears out of you will be the last.
Not aware that the noises are the noises of death.
The other girl also had someone leave.
This lady left in shock,
In horror.
Her husband is a bastard,
And so is her son.
No one thought that her life would end like that.
She was the nicest person that first little girl ever met.
That lady got a tie put around her neck,
The very tie that she bought for her husband just days ago.
And she had to look into his eyes,
And he looked into hers.
As he tightened that tie,
Her son in the doorway screaming at her.
Screaming You deserve it Mom.
She left in confusion,
In horror.
Those two little girls know far beyond their years.
They have been through way too much for girls their age.
They know the true meaning of hate, of love.
They understand that God has a master plan.
That everything happens for a reason.
And those reasons we may never know.
But they all happen for a reason.
We may not find out why for a day, a week, a year,
Or never.
Those two little girls standing there in the rain.
They have so many worries.
They have so much pain.
They love so little,
And hate so little.
They love each other,
And not many other than that.
Nothing can tear them apart.
Their bond is too strong for anything to tear them apart.
People have tried before,
And now those people are not there,
They aren’t there in those little girls’ hearts.
This is all true,
None of it is fake.
There are no lies,
For those little girls know what lies can do.
Lies can rip and tear the most valuable things.
There are two little girls standing there,
In the cold,
In the wet,
In the hot,
In the humid.
They are by each other no matter what.
