LANGUAGE HALF-LIFE

500 years ago Shakespeare did write:
“More than that tongue that more hath more expressed,”
But do we understand him now aright?
Today, it’s modern language we like best.
But just consider the Bard and, “Bingo!”
You’ll realize just how fast language can change;
We’ve got words like “rad-waste” in our lingo
(...Lost words like “intrinsicate” in exchange).
And speaking of rad-waste, there must be sung
A warning to last 20 times as long
As “Shakespeare” lived to be a foreign tongue.
To last, I feel it should be put in song:
“We nuked this place ‘cause we hadda;
