... so comfortable to be in your company,
... so pleasant to guest in your home,
... so magical to share your ideas,
... so enchanting to go where you roam.
I learned from you of foreign lands,
how to better appreciate art,
how to play, religiously,
and how to speak from the heart.
I watched you practice the love you taught
when you thought I wasn’t looking,
I met your friends, I glimpsed your past
and I sampled your fine, gourmet cooking.
And now that you’ve achieved eternal rest,
after doing your uttermost
Ironically, your laugh, which I remember best,
Is what I find I miss the most.
