I was there when you were crying
I was there when you were sleeping
When bad dreams roled around I was there to reassure you I would never leave
your side
When you fell I was there to hold you high so you could still see the night
sky and the stars
When you were scared, I promised I would protect you and be there
When depressed I did everything to make you as happy as a child with candy
Said you could never get mad or angry at me because I was there for you all
those times
One little mistake I did turned your whole theory around
Now when I am sad and lonely
You look at me and leave
I wonder why I wasted my time with you
If I knew you were this painful
I would have let you cryed, let you be scared, let you be mad, let you have
nightmares no one could believe
For once again everything I loved has bewildered and left me in the cold
In the night sky with no protection of anything or anyone
God, when will it be my turn to have something that does the same as I do
for another? When will I have my turn?
