when the sun sets
i want it to stay night
the day is to happy
the day is to bright

The dark is how i feel inside
so empty and so cold
I want to stay in the dark
untill he returns, or im old

The nights' sounds are scary
they keep me wide awake
i want to just go away sometimes
just leave me alone for heavens sake

I like to be alone
it helps my day go by
the empty feeling inside my soul
when all you people lie

Everythings a lie, every word that's said
that's how it seems these days
that's what i think at least
but my eyes are clouded my haze

I'm a lonely nobody
i just sit and cry
wishing he would hurry home
and i wouldn't have to try
