The sun will come up another day,
the clouds will simply stream by,
do not grieve for me,
it was my time to fly.

I’m watching you from up above,
the sun, the stars the sky.
I’ve looked into God’s face now,
for me, please do not cry.

I finally feel that peace and calm,
as I put my hands into God’s palm.
As much as I love and miss you so,
if given the choice, I would not leave though.

My life on earth, though all too brief,
should not fill yours with all this grief.
Your lives will go on, as they did from the start,
and you’ll keep me in your soul,
as if we never did part.

Whenever you’re lonely, remember I’m here,
to help you and guide you, and take away all your fear.
Although you can not take it, I’m happier now,
please do not question Him, and wonder “how?”.

All the memories we’ve shared, good or bad,
will remain in your heart,
whether they make you laugh or sad.

My life has not ended, it will live on,
in the Kingdom of Heaven,
where it continues on.
