of this world around me

I'm the little bird
locked in its cage
my beautiful colors dulling
with all my rage.

this little bird's got bite
dont come to close
i'll put you to fright

open the door
let me fly
feel freedom to its core.
I wont come back
wont even look back
these wings will keep going
untill i hide in a crack.
I'll make my own life
how i wish you could see me then
i'd laugh in your face
to think you were my friend.

stupid cage
