KINGDOM

Rule for ever in my kingdom ancient
I live for a superior power, I am complacent
Conduct this weather, fabricate my sun
Provide me moon, on my late night river run

Mistress of doom, translucent you turn
More plague, more worry, more corruption you yearn
Explode skyward, on winds of soaring
Thunder of your decay, beneath me roaring

Straddling cloud high, in your beyond blued heaven
You can’t perceive me, believe me now, eyes focus given
Distant from all the talk below, I laugh I’m higher
I pray, and betray the foolish winds of evil, until I tire

And the day my kingdom sleeps
I will gladly leave it be
For my time has come
And my river has run

And the day my kingdom sleeps
I will gladly weep
For the memories you keep
And the times you spent with me

I roamed, step by step, in a leaden animation
Blades of summer grass run through my memory station
I roamed, step by step, in a leaden animation
Enshrining nights of fascination
Triggered by our imaginations…

But until the day my kingdom ancient sleeps
I live for a superior power, and I am complacent
Controlling the weather, you made me sun
Gave me moon, on my late night river run
