Memory of You

-this is once again about my best friend who died, again why it's under
the category of "death"-

Tonight I sat with your memory
Your face smiling back at me
Your words spoken so silently
You move so wild and free

It’s been a year now
Since you’ve been gone
I can’t believe it
It doesn’t feel that long

My mind still searches
For all the explainable answers
Why you left me here
Why you never got those second chances

But still I sit with your memory
And your brightened face smiling at me
You speak your words so silently
And move and fly so wild and free

Life carries on
As just the same
Take the sunshine
With all the rain

Look up in the heavens
And search for your eyes
And know you’re looking at me
From those deep blue skies

And forever I will have your memory
And see your face smiling back at me
I’ll hear your words so silently
And you’ll help me fly so wild and free
