Tonight I set you free my angel
For I have imprisoned you too long
Your tattered wings hang lifelessly but
You must return, and I must move on
For heaven is far too empty and
Hell has now taken over the earth
Evil has enveloped everything
For your company this was not worth
I could have sworn I knew the difference
Between evil and all that is good
But I have become the wretched one
Held your heart for as long as one could
So let us close this classic story
About this sweet seraphim of mine
Forever she shall be in my thoughts
But I have released her from my mind
