Twist

Twisting and turning in endless black,
Wish you could return, wish you could go back,
A catacomb of lies, the corpses of your deception,
A puddle of dirty water to catch your dirty reflection,

The tunnel twist this way, the tunnel twists that,
No where to go, no where to turn at,
Trying to find the light, a way out, to finish, an end,
Timeless echoes, how long have you been walking, when‘d it begin?

Your guilt whispers to you, the footsteps of your past follow behind,
As you try to escape the truth, walking where light is blind,
Never to get out, always to be alone with your sins,
Trapped in this tunnel that twists and bends.
