“NIGHTMARE”

It was cold and muggy on that train
All I could hear was the winter rain.
My family and I arrived at this camp,
My clothes were dirty and a little damp.
The soldiers took my mom and sister to the shower
Not even being at the camp for even one hour.
When I found out what actually happened
I wondered where I was, looking at the rough gravel
I wished I could end this nightmare with time travel.
Wishing I was never forced to come
I hope no one else ever has to experience being treated like scum.
