Sometimes at night, when I look to the sky,
I start thinking of you and then ask myself “why”,
“Why do I love you?” I think and smile,
Because I know the list could run on for miles.
The whisper of your voice, the warmth of your touch,
So many little things make me love you so much.
The way you support me, even my silly notions.
The way that you care and show such devotion,
The way that your kiss, fills me with desire,
And how you hold me with the warmth of a fire.
The way your eyes shine when you look at me,
Lost with you forever is where I want to be.
The way that I feel when you’re by my side.
A sense of completion and overflowing pride.
The dreams that I dream,
That all involve you, the possibilities I see, and the things we can do.
How you finish the puzzle that lies inside my heart.
How deep in my soul, you are a very important part.
I could go on for days, telling of what I feel,
But all you really must know is... my love for you is real.

I've often thought of the question you've asked me.
Why do I love you?…here goes sweetie.
It's the beauty of your smile; it's everything that you do.
For I see happiness when I look at you.
The way you dance, your silly wink,
The way you laugh, or simply how you blink.
The love I feel when you hold me tight.
A love to keep me warm through the coldest of nights.
How you make me feel, how you open up my heart.
All the hopes that you bring right from the start.
How your tender kisses can put me in a daze.
I love you baby in each and every way.
How you lift me up, how you gave me flight,
Forever is what I see when I look into your eyes.
My heart beats to a new rhythm, a rhythm of love.
All because of you my angel sent from above.
You're my ray of light on those dark, gloomy days.
You are the answer to all of my prayers.
I can continue with my reasons, my list is endless.
For I love you more and more as each day progresses.
So why do I love you?…let me tell you why..
Because you're my hopes, my dreams, my love my life.

When I first saw you,
I saw something unusual?
Something that created a thump in my heart.
Yet, I paid no attention to it.
As days went by,
I started seeing you more often,
The thump I once felt in my heart
Has multiplied like the stars
That light up the night.
It began to form an odd rhythm,
Which was beyond my control,
That's when I realized
I was falling in love.
I know it seems impossible to be in love
With someone you've never met.
But whenever I felt depressed,
I'd just think of you, and everything would be okay.
I would risk the chance of being late for class
Just to take a quick glance of you.
I would walk down the wrong side
Of the hallway just to pass by you
And smell the sweet fragrance of your skin.
Everyone tells me I should just
Walk up to you and introduce myself.
But every time I get near you,
My whole body weakens, and I become inarticulate.
I long to hear your deep, melodious voice
And to run my fingers through your hair
Your soft hair that hangs slightly
And delicately over your eyes.
I know I sound as though I am obsessed,
I just don't know how else
I can express my feelings.
It is almost like an ocean;
The water will never dry up.
The way I feel about you
Would never decrease, but only grow stronger.
I know everything I dream of between us
Will never become a part of reality,
For we are water and fire,
Two things that would never combine.
I just want to let you know
That someone out there
Truly loves and admires you.


You know I'll always love you,
You know I always have.
You know my heart is yours, and yours to keep
For all eternity.
That is why I have to ask
With every part of my existence.
Could you steal this heart of mine?
It is the only part of myself, I have left.
The only part that is still whole.
The only part I've given to no one, until now.
You say I'm yours and yours only,
But should I believe these promises?
For life is all about broken promises,
Even you know that.
You know you have my heart,
And I don't want it back.
Without you, I'd feel empty inside,
For I wouldn't have a heart.
Life would not be worth living
Without the one thing I love the most.
So keep this heart of mine safe,
Never let it fall.
And I'll thank you with the only thing
I can give to someone that I love.
My being in your life forever.
But if you someday decide
My heart is not worthy of your love.
