the love of my life
the beating of my heart
follows threw the enchanting sky
up above the clouds of golden blue
threw the voice i always listen to

loving like the deep blue sea
following the wind my love and me
sunbaked as the sky goes on
with open arms to hold you so
sets off a light, just like a glow
i wish upon a star, within my heart
you will still remain ,not one to part

i smell the scent of a rose
with thorns that pinch my heart so
flying with the birds, i sore along
the rose still with me like a song
the love of my life forever more
keeps knocking at my golden door

she smiles as she blinks
softly she speaks
a woman in love, with tender thoughts
remind me of a love not lost
the love of my life, forever more
i have a life with you once more


i sleep as the night grows near
only to shed a tear
i kneel down as i look into her eyes
the love of my life, forever more
until the end, when time stands still
not a sound remains
just a beating of two hearts
forever more, and not to part
