Why couldn't you see the hurt in my eyes?
So many nights I've wanted you to hear my cries,
The secrets you kept so far away,
Came back to haunt you and I couldn't stay,
You were supposed to help me make it last,
There's nothing either of us can do to erase our pasts,
I hear your laugh inside my mind,
I thought a man like you I could no longer find,

Now I understand why your such a jerk!
