You asked me to dance and I said yes.
My first slow dance in so long.
I thouht I'd be nervous, but surprisingly I wasn't.
Dancing with you was so familar.
Dancing with you I remember dancing with my first love.
He held me close.
And whispered in my ear.
Told me secrets he would never tell another soul.
Told me his dreams.
And told me his fears.
Made me believe that we'ed be together forever.
And made me believe that everthing was fine when in my mind I knew the
truth.
I hope that you ask me to dance again.
But that this time we create new memories.
memories of you holding me close.
Of you whispering in my ear.
Of you telling me your secrets.
Of you telling me your fears.
And a kiss that we won't forget.
