Pride and Humility

Watch out for Pride; be like Humility.
As you walk down the street of life you'll see
Pride, wearing fine leather shoes and a freshly pressed suit.
Behind him you'll see Humility,
Wearing much the same attire,
As he helps a man who has a flat.
This man, who had little expierence in such matters,
Had asked Pride for assistance,
But Pride continued on his way
Saying his fine clothes would be spoiled.
Later on, Pride fell after tripping on a curb.
He broke an ankle and was unable to walk.
Along came Humility and the man,
Whose name was Forgiveness.
They helped him up,
And took him to his home where he could heal.
We must watch out for Pride,
So that we can be like Humility and help him him up.
