I couldn't sleep last night,
Things just didn't seem right.
Probably because I wasn't in your arms,
With you keeping me safe from harm.

I couldn't sleep last night,
Because you were on my mind.
I kept thinking about the night,
And all the things we left behind...
All the memories that we shared together,
Thinking we'd be together forever.
All the times we used to be with one another,
I loved you, like no other.

Now all those fun times are gone,
And all that's left with me is the thought of you.
But one day I hope we'll be together again,
So that we can have fun times again too.

Hopefully I'll get some sleep tonight,
While I dream of you.
Thinking of you holding me tight...
Wanting that wish to come true.
All I have left to say, is that I hope we get together once more,
So we could be in love again and life will no longer be a bore.
Maybe not tonight, Maybe not soon,
But eventually in time, I hope I'll be with you.
