Another Day

Sometimes you wish for no troubles
That they'd all drift way
Or shatter when met with a lover's lips
But they just don't seem to go away
Sometimes you dream of another life
a sketched out fantasy in your mind
That may not ever come to be
But dreams are not easily left behind
Some people suffer endlessly
Of the same torments, that bring others pleasure
Some people take the simple things for granted
Things that others treasure
Sometimes all you want
Is what you never can have
The feelings that make others happy
Only seem to make you sad
And sometimes you feel all alone
In a world thats caving in on you
And if there's a spark of hope it will often fade
And theres no one else to turn to
But people love you, and know your special
But this you won't believe
Because you only trust
the thoughts that you perceive
But maybe if instead of looking at yourself
through the eyes that our your own
For a second you could look through the eyes of someone else
And know yourself, and not feel so alone
Other people think your special
Don't let your happiness astray
And do not loathe yourself or life
Until you've lived another day
