Why live on forever,
When forever never comes,
Why do people ask me,
Why and how come?
Can’t they see it in my eyes,
That I cry and I cry,
Time after time,
And keep it on the inside.

People think that I am,
As happy as can be,
Can’t they see the truth,
That lies within me.
They say that I am perfect,
When I am far from it,
Can’t they see it in my eyes?
That I cry and I cry.

What is this world,
Coming to these days?
People don’t think,
That what they may say,
Can really end up,
Ruining someone’s day,
Can’t they see it in my eyes?

By now I’ve lost everything,
That I’ve got to hide,
Can’t they see it in my eyes?

And I’m not the only one anymore!
