I am alone
My tears have
Become my
One companion.

Here I sit
Here I sit
Waiting for
The coming of the
Night.

Here I sit
Engulfed in depression
For it has overtaken
My being once again.

And I shall be its victim
For all eternity
“And I shall be its victim”
It sneers at me.

I am alone
I’m enslaved
I am destroyed
Once again

I am dieing
Soon I’ll be dead
I am dieing
At least that’s what
The voices have said.

Soon this will all be over
Soon this will forever end

Here I sit
Here I sit
Waiting for
My impending doom

Here I sit
Here I sit
Fingers numbing
Ready to slit

A muted memory glints
And I think of how things
used to be

And I think
And I think
Cringing in pain
As the blade starts to sink

My heart is slowing
As my cosciousness drips
Away

And I think
And I think
About the last words I heard.

My love
My love
They were talking to you

My love
My love
How can this be true?

My love
My love
They were thanking you.
