Dear God,
I write to you this letter, just to ask you why
Why you gave him to me, why he's no longer in the sky
Why you would think that on Earth, he'll do much better
Here with me, to stay here forever
This angel is much different, than others from before
He has a dark past, but he realizes there is more
There's no need for hatred, what we need is to care
An angel he is, for a pure heart he bears
Why, O' God, would you give up your favorite angel
To live down here with me, to forever dwell
In a place where wrongs are sometimes right
Where sometimes we solve things by learning to fight
He may be strong, but this world is too frightening
He deserves to be up there with You, where he can bring
Joy and happiness to the angel's above
And show them the meaning of true love
He has it inside of him, to share with all
To give it to other's who are about to fall
into the callings of the ones down below
Where violence and pain is all they know
But even the most ignorant of us can see
That even violence once loved, he once loved me
So, God, do you understand all of which i say
Please, dear God, take this angel away...

Genuinely,
Christina O'Day
