In shallow waters
And streams of sleep
I wade slowly where my heart doth reap
My soul a light in the burning night
My body a drop in the rolling sea
The emptiness I feel not more
No burden do I hold
No tears do I shed
I drift off to my little place
I hide not in here
A place where I can stay
Alone
But my thought is heavy and pulls me down
Nowhere to turn in my thoughts
I close my eyes
The tears they flow
I turn my head
A distant light it shines from somewhere
I know not where in my sea
My eyelids open
My eyes focus
The rain has stopped in my little place
I step outside and look around
The sun now shines
In this distant place I am
My eyes blink and open once again
A white space I see
I turn my head
Step out of bed
The night of my day has come.
